Spur Configurator
Your customer builds the vehicle. You build the order.
Every option, every combination — chosen on screen by the customer or your dealer, checked by your rules, and turned into a quote, an order and a build sheet. Nobody retypes anything.
New moduleA new module: we define the scope with you in a workshop and build it on your catalog, your rules and your quote layout. The prototypes below run on sample data.
Caravan configurator
Your customer builds the caravan on screen — floor plan, off-grid power, colors — with live weight, payload and delivery week, checked by your rules. No price in the customer view.

Trailer configurator
A low-bed semi-trailer configured for the customer's job: deck, ramps, gooseneck and axles — tare weight, payload and delivery week update live, and builds that are not possible are blocked.

Add-ons for a car in your stock
For car and van dealers, the configurator does not build a vehicle — it adds to one in your stock. Your customer adds what belongs to the deal, and your sales team receives an inquiry that already includes the vehicle, the extras and the trade-in.
- Tires, tow bar, extended warranty, service package
- Trade-in valuation request with photos
- Deposit and reservation online
- New-vehicle orders from manufacturer price lists
- Search your stock by equipment, not only by make
- Every inquiry linked to the vehicle in your stock
Stock, website and inquiries are in daily use in the dealer model; the add-on configurator is a new module that we define with you.
How it works
Rules make sure every configuration can be built
Three kinds of rules cover what your product managers know by heart today. A configuration that cannot be built can never be requested or ordered — and the customer is told why, in clear words.
Requires
One option needs another
Choosing the first option adds the second automatically. If the second is an alternative in its group, it replaces the current choice — an upgrade with an explanation, never a hidden change.
The off-grid pack requires the 1,800 kg chassis — upgraded automatically.
Excludes
Two options do not go together
The excluded option is disabled and shows the reason. If it was already chosen, the configurator switches to the next option that fits and tells the customer.
Payload 60 t needs at least 3 axles — 2-axle options are disabled.
Includes
A package includes its parts
The parts come with the package and are priced in it. If the package is removed, its parts are removed too — unless another option still needs them.
The off-grid pack includes solar panels, a lithium battery and an inverter.
Weight & payload, live
Every option has a weight. Tare weight, payload, axle loads or mass in running order and max. laden mass update with each click and warn before a limit is exceeded.
Long lead times move the date
Options with long lead times move the delivery week — the customer sees this before ordering, not after.
Prices stay with you
The customer view shows no price. Your sales team sees the full calculation internally: list prices, packages, discounts and margin.
From click to build sheet
No more retyping specifications
Configure, quote, accept, order, build — one record that moves forward, instead of five documents that no longer match.
Quote, order, build sheet
Every request arrives in your inbox. Your sales team sends the PDF quote in your design; once accepted, it becomes the order and the build sheet.
- PDF quote in your layout with drawing, options, price and delivery week
- The customer accepts online; a deposit can be requested in the same step
- The order is locked with its catalog version
- Production receives the specification as a checklist per station
- Parts lists can be exported for purchasing or your ERP
Quote → order → build sheet
The accepted configuration becomes the order and the build sheet — locked to its catalog version, with no retyping.

Maintained by you, not by us
Product managers edit options, weights, prices and rules in an editor. A new model year is a copy with a few changes — not a software project and not a support ticket for us.
Versioned
Every quote keeps the catalog version it was made with. A price change tomorrow does not change yesterday's offer, and an order is built exactly as it was accepted.
Catalog editor
Options with part numbers, weights, prices and lead times, in your languages. Rules are checked as you add them: circular or contradictory rules are rejected with a reason.
- Edit weights, prices and lead times directly in the table
- Add “requires”, “excludes” and “includes” rules — checked on entry
- New model year as a copy, with a count of the changes
- Quotes and orders keep their catalog version
Catalog editor
Product management maintains options, weights and rules on its own. A new model year is a copy with a few changes — and every quote keeps the catalog version it was made with.

Demand data & dealer network
See demand before the orders arrive
Demand analysis
Every saved configuration is a lead that already shows what the customer wants. Product management sees which options sell and where customers hesitate.
- Sales funnel: configurations started, quoted, ordered
- Most chosen options per period
- Options removed before the quote — and the likely reason
- Figures per model, period and dealer
Demand analysis
Product management sees how many configurations become quotes and orders — and which options are chosen and which are dropped.

Dealer portal
Dealers configure for their customers with their own prices and margins and follow every order stage by stage. Data that belongs to another dealer is never sent to them.
- Own customers, own prices, own orders
- Order status per unit, from confirmation to handover
- Other dealers' data is not hidden — it is never loaded
- The manufacturer sees the whole network
Dealer portal
Dealers configure and order in their own portal and follow every order — they see only their own customers and prices, never another dealer's.

Status: new module
Built with you, on your catalog
The configurator is not an off-the-shelf product. Spur's core is in daily use in the vehicle trade; the configurator is defined with you in a workshop and built in stages that you accept one by one.
- 01
Requirements workshop
We follow one real vehicle from configuration to delivery. You receive the functional specification and a dated schedule.
- 02
Kick-off & catalog
You send us models, options, weights and rules — Excel or PDF is enough to start.
- 03
A demo every two weeks
Every two weeks, a live demo on a test system — with your own options, not sample data.
- 04
Acceptance per stage
Your team tests each stage against the functional specification. Open issues are fixed before acceptance.
- 05
Go-live & training
On your website or showroom tablet, under your brand. Short guides for sales and product management.
- 06
Close support after go-live
Four weeks of close support after go-live, with a direct line to the developers.
Early benefit: the configurator can go live first, while the production and after-sales modules are still being built.

Questions about the configurator
Is the configurator available today?
It is a new module. Spur's core — vehicle records, history, roles, checklists — is in daily use. The configurator is defined with you in a workshop and built on your catalog in stages that you accept one by one.
Why does my customer not see a price?
Because you decide. Many manufacturers want the price to come from their sales team or dealer, with the quote. The customer sees options, weight, payload and delivery week; your sales view shows the full calculation. If you want prices online, that is a setting.
Who maintains options, prices and rules?
You do, in the catalog editor. A new model year is a copy with a few changes. We set up your first catalog with you and train your product manager.
What happens to an open quote when prices change?
Nothing. Every quote and order keeps the catalog version it was made with. Changes apply to new configurations only.
Can it run on our own website?
Yes — embedded in your site under your brand and domain, on a showroom tablet, or with your sales team and dealers in their portal. Arabic runs right-to-left.
Does Spur replace our ERP?
No. Material planning and machine scheduling stay in your ERP. Spur hands over the specification and the parts list — we build the interface to your system.
Show us your option list
Bring your current price list or order form. In a first meeting we outline your rules, weights and quote — and what a workshop would cover.
