01Vehicle registerIn use

Your stock belongs to you — not to a portal

A vehicle is in Spur before it is listed online, and it stays there after the listing ends. Filter, search and export your stock. A missing value stays empty — it never turns into a zero.

Vehicle register

Your whole stock in one register, independent of any portal — filter by stage, days in stock and listing status, search by VIN, export at any time. Empty values stay empty.

The table shows 30 sample vehicles of every type. Search by VIN or stock number, filter by status, stage, vehicle type, listed or not, and by days in stock (60+, 90+, 120+ — a vehicle with 130 days appears in all three). The KPIs at the top also work as filters. “Export CSV” downloads the filtered rows as a file. A missing purchase price stays an empty cell and is shown as “Not recorded”, never as 0.

02Step checklistsIn use

A checklist for every step — nobody has to guess the status

Workshop, wash, photos, EV charging: each step has a target time. If a vehicle waits too long, it is flagged everywhere — in the list, in the vehicle file and in the KPIs.

Reconditioning board

Every vehicle moves through its reconditioning steps with a target time per step. Overdue cars are flagged on the board, in the header and in the daily overview.

Drag a vehicle card into the next column, or use the arrow button on the card to move it one step forward. Each step has a target time: the bar turns yellow when the time is almost used up and red when it is exceeded. Press “+1 day” to let time pass and watch the bars change, or switch on “Only overdue”. Electric and plug-in hybrid cars go through EV charging; a gasoline or diesel car moves from Photos straight to Ready for sale.

03Complete historyIn use

One file per vehicle — and every change in it

Mileage corrected, price changed, damage repaired: every change is logged with the user, the old value, the new value and the time. Nothing is overwritten without a trace.

Vehicle file with gapless history

One record per vehicle, and every change to it is logged with who, what (old → new) and when. Nothing in the history can be edited or deleted.

This is the file of a BMW 320d Touring. Under Overview, click the mileage (84,000 km), change it — for example to 84,500 — and save; or pick another color. Under Condition you can change tire tread, keys and service book. Every save adds a line at the top of History with the user, the old and the new value and the time. The older lines show step changes, a cost, a damage that was recorded and repaired, and the listing going live. There is no delete button.

04DocumentsIn use

Contracts, papers and photos — on the vehicle, not in a drawer

Purchase contract, registration papers, service book, inspection report and photos are stored in the vehicle file. Documents that Spur creates use your own letterhead.

05Damage mapIn use

Mark damage once — see it the same everywhere

Click on the vehicle, choose the damage type, attach a photo. The count updates in the list, the vehicle file and the KPIs at the same time — and it never appears on your public website.

Damage map

Damage is marked on the vehicle in five views and counted the same everywhere — in the list, in the vehicle file and in the KPIs. It never appears on the public website.

Pick a view (front, rear, left, right, roof) and click on the vehicle to place a pin — or choose an area from the list and press “Place pin”. Choose the type of damage, attach a sample photo and save. The number of open damages changes at the same moment in the KPIs, in the vehicle file header and in the damage list. Check “Repaired” and the count goes down; the damage stays in the file. Switch between car, van and caravan: each has its own drawings and areas. The lists are in use today; the vehicle drawings are new.

06Customers & fleetsIn use

Every vehicle a customer ever had

Name, address, phone, notes — and the full history: what they bought, what they traded in, what is reserved right now. Fleet customers with all their vehicles in one list.

Every customer with every vehicle they ever had with you — bought, traded in, reserved — and fleet customers with all their vehicles in one list.

On the left is the customer list. A private customer opens with a timeline: which vehicles they bought, which they traded in, what they own today and what is reserved right now. Open the fleet customer to see its 20 vehicles in a compact list with totals: vehicles, active, returned, total sales and average age. The filter switches between private and fleet customers.

07Roles & tabletIn use

Not hidden — never loaded

The workshop never sees your purchase prices. Not because a column is hidden, but because the data is never sent to the workshop's device. That is the difference between a setting and a guarantee.

Roles: not hidden — never loaded

The workshop never sees your purchase prices. What a role may not see is not hidden on the screen — it is never sent to the device in the first place.

Switch between Owner, Sales, Workshop and Accounting above the stock table. Columns disappear according to the permission matrix: Sales sees neither purchase price nor costs, and sees margins only on its own deals; the Workshop sees only the vehicles assigned to it, with no prices and no customers; Accounting can read the figures but cannot change them. The struck-through fields are not hidden for that role — the server never sends them to the device.

Due today, due this week, done. One tap on a large button closes a task, and the vehicle moves to the next step automatically. No prices anywhere on the screen.

The workshop works on a tablet: one tap closes a task, and when the last task is done, the vehicle moves to Wash automatically.

You see the tablet of a workshop technician: tasks grouped into Due today, This week and Done, overdue ones marked red. Tap the big green Done button on a task — the card moves to Done, and for five seconds you can undo it. If it was the vehicle's last workshop task, the stage is complete and the vehicle moves to Wash. There are no prices anywhere on this screen.

Buyers find you on your website — their inquiries go straight into Spur

Your stock appears on your own website automatically, and sold vehicles are removed automatically. Every inquiry arrives in Spur, linked to its vehicle — it never gets lost in an email inbox.

On the left is the dealer's own website: filter by make, fuel and price, open a vehicle and send an inquiry. On the right is the inbox in Spur: the inquiry appears there, linked to the vehicle and its stock number and marked New — set it to Contacted and add a note. “Sell your car” sends a valuation request with photos, which becomes a purchase in one click. With the toggle, the dealer edits the banner and phone number without a developer. Damage is never shown on the website.

Portal sync: read-only, without duplicates

Spur reads your portal listings and matches each one to its vehicle. It never writes to the portal and never creates duplicates. If the portal is down, Spur shows this clearly — your stock list never just looks empty.

Portal sync simulator

Spur reads your listings from the portal and matches each one to the right vehicle by VIN — read-only, without duplicates, and your own entries always win. If the portal is down, your last data stays visible.

Press “Sync now”: the portal’s listings come in one by one and are matched to the vehicles in your stock by VIN. A listing without a vehicle creates one; a vehicle without a listing simply stays. The mileage of the Mercedes was entered in Spur and is locked — the different value on the portal does not overwrite it. Switch on “portal unreachable” and sync again: a banner shows the time of the last successful sync, and nothing disappears. Switch on “Import twice”: every listing is found already linked, and no duplicate is created. In normal use the sync runs automatically every 30 minutes. The live connection is in use for mobile.de; for other portals the connection is agreed per market in the first two weeks of a project.

09Purchasing & trade-inIn use

Every vehicle comes with its origin

Leasing company, dealer auction, dealer, private seller or trade-in: Spur records who sold the vehicle, how it is taxed and whether it is paid. The seller's details are locked at the time of purchase.

Purchase & trade-in

Every vehicle comes with its origin: source, seller, tax treatment and payment. Seller details are locked at purchase, and one inquiry creates exactly one purchase.

Record a purchase: pick the source (leasing company, dealer auction, dealer, private seller or trade-in), check the seller's details, choose margin scheme or standard VAT and enter the price. Confirm it — the seller section is locked, with time and user. Then switch on “Paid” with a date, and the purchase leaves the “Unpaid purchases” list. On the right, click “Create purchase” on a website request twice: the second click opens the existing purchase instead of creating another one.

10Sales & paymentsIn use

From first inquiry to final payment

Inquiry, reservation, sale, handover. Move one step forward or back; every change is saved with user and time. Deposits reduce the balance due. A lost deal leaves the open lists but stays in the system.

Sales pipeline & payments

Inquiry → reservation → sale → handover, one step at a time, with every change logged. Deposits reduce the balance, “Paid” means a balance of exactly 0.00, and a lost deal leaves the lists but never the system.

On the left are the deals, filtered to open ones; above them are the KPIs. Move the selected deal one step forward or back on the stage bar — each change appears in the history with user and time. Record a deposit with amount and date: the balance updates, and the deal only counts as paid at 0.00. Mark a deal as lost: it disappears from the open list and the KPIs, and you can find it again under the Lost or All filter.

11Invoicing & taxIn development

From sale to invoice — no gaps, no changes

Each invoice number is used exactly once. Finalized invoices are locked. Corrections are made only with a credit note. This module is in development: the prototype shows how it will work, and we test and approve it together with you.

Invoice: no gaps, no changes

From sale to invoice in one click. Every number is used exactly once, a finalized invoice cannot be changed, and a correction is only possible as a credit note that refers to the original.

Create the invoice from the handed-over sale. As a draft it can still be edited or discarded — it has no number yet. Finalize it and the next number is assigned; if you then try to edit it, the system refuses. Create a credit note: it gets its own number and refers to the invoice, and the number log shows the sequence without a gap.

12ReportingIn use

Honest numbers — nobody can make them look better

Each day starts with what needs attention, and every warning opens the matching list. Margin is counted on the handover date. A vehicle without a purchase price is shown as incomplete — never as zero.

“Today” shows warning tiles calculated from stock, deals and purchases: reconditioning overdue, reservation without progress, purchase price missing, more than 60, 90 and 120 days in stock, payment due and unpaid purchase. Click a tile to open exactly the vehicles, deals or purchases behind the number. Switch to the margin report: a sale counts in the month of its handover, not its reservation. A vehicle without a purchase price is listed as incomplete and left out of the totals instead of being counted as 0.
